Zhuqiao Ancient Village is located 10 kilometers north of Jinxi County, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province. The village was built about 800 years ago. The scenic area of Zhuqiao Ancient Village is about 2.8 square kilometers. It is 30 kilometers away from Longhu Mountain Scenic Area in the north and Dajue Mountain Scenic Area in the south. 40 kilometers, Jiguang, Fuji Expressway and 206, 316 National Roads pass through the border. The village now preserves 8 residential buildings built in Ming Dynasty, 1 Ming Dynasty ancestral hall, and the rest are Qing Dynasty buildings. In ancient times, Jinxi and Dongxiang Road passed the village. There was a stream in front of the village, and there were thousands of acres of fertile land. There were still four people hugging an old camphor tree at the entrance of the village. There was Xifu Temple at the bottom, and Zilan Pavilion at the bottom. The trees are lush and the birds are singing.

Located near the entrance of the main gate building, it is the earliest ancestral hall in the ancient village. It was built in the early Ming Dynasty to commemorate Yu Wenlong, the founder of the village. Every year on the second day of the first month of the first month, people from the village will come here to hold sacrificial activities to worship ancestors and write genealogy for newborns. It has a history of 600 years.
Located near the entrance of Zhi Street in the village, the ground is paved with bluestone into the word "humanity", which implies the meaning of not forgetting the fundamentals of being a human being. In the corner of the gatehouse, there is a xi character furnace, which reflects the respect of the ancient village people for culture.
Located next to the Yu family's mansion, there is an inscription "Advice from the grass to pass the fragrance", which is used to commemorate the deeds of Yu Changyan, the ancestor of the ancient village of the Southern Song Dynasty, who asked for orders for the people and dared to speak out to the emperor.
This is the largest public ancestral hall in the ancient village. The Yangzheng Mountain House next to it used to be a workshop for engraving and printing in the village, and now it is opened as a book bar. There is an exhibition of Lu Jiuyuan's life in the ancestral hall, and it is also a training base for the government's party building.
It is the largest two-row conjoined residential building in the village. There are side doors inside the building, which are connected to each other, also known as Lianxin Lane. The gates of some buildings in Shijia Lane still retain complete and exquisite brick carvings, which are rich in meaning and are typical representatives of Gan style residential buildings.
The Zhenchuan Ancestral Hall in the east of the village is different from other ancestral halls. On both sides are the gates of “Peilan” and “Zhigui”. “Peilan” and “Zhigui” mean to cultivate talents. . There are podiums on both sides, three buildings in a row, connected into one, with a construction area of more than 600 square meters and 10 patios.
Zhuqiao Ancient Village Scenic Spot is located in Zhuqiao Ancient Village, a Chinese traditional village with a history of more than 600 years in Jinxi County, Jiangxi Province. In June 2016, Jinxi Bamboo Bridge Ancient Village was selected into the list of "The Most Beautiful Ancient Villages".
